## Title: Area Head of ATR and Financial Controlling

About the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing a variety of critical areas within financial controlling and ATR (Accounts, Tax, and Regulatory) service delivery across the West Africa region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support strategic initiatives, add value, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Oversee entire ATR service delivery to assigned stakeholder groups
  • Ensure adherence to established standards and process compliance while identifying opportunities for further efficiencies
  • Maintain financial data integrity of books of accounts and conduct regular GL scrutiny to ensure accuracy
  • Strengthen process controls and ensure compliance execution
  • Conduct periodic performance management reviews and recommend improvement areas for implementation
  • Review monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations, identify potential financial exposures, and take appropriate corrective action
  • Review monthly NOPAT and provide explanations for significant variances
  • Review Trial Balance as part of monthly Book Close to ensure correct reporting
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of IFRS/OHADA GAAP for relevant countries in the area and ensure compliance
  • Support all types of audits (Statutory, Tax, Government, Internal, etc.)
  • Drive NFTP implementation and enhancements for WAF Area entities in accordance with project plans
  • Participate and contribute to global and regional projects
  • Manage, coach, and lead a team while driving engagement and actively supporting career planning and progression
  • Facilitate required functional and technical training to team members, including OHADA and French language instruction
