About the Position

FHI 360 is seeking a motivated and experienced professional for this role. The MNCH Technical Advisor II is an advanced subject matter expert who will oversee the MNCH components of complex technical programs, directing and advising other technical staff members.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day technical and operational aspects of MNCH and integrated health projects
• Supervise technical staff members to ensure project activities remain on track with work plans
• Inform project design and implementation, leveraging technical expertise in MNCH
• Support or lead the development of proposals for local and regional MNCH and integrated health initiatives
• Lead the development and revision of best practice documents
• Monitor budgets in collaboration with finance staff
• Provide input to senior technical leadership on global and national MNCH best practices, guidelines, and normative policies
• Lead the creation of the technical portion of MNCH program designs within resource and financial constraints
• Coordinate with project technical and programmatic staff to ensure activities are implemented according to global and local best practices
• Ensure activities meet client expectations, achieve expected targets, and align with award requirements and FHI 360 policy
• Maintain dialogue and coordination with diverse organizations including Ministries of Health, international and national development partner organizations, and government departments

Work Location

This position is open to candidates based in Senegal or any country where FHI 360 has active registration.
