Project Description

ActionAid Rwanda invites national tenders for the construction of two combined basketball and volleyball playgrounds:

• One at Groupe Scolaire Kaganza (Mukingo Sector)
• One at Groupe Scolaire Gati (Muyira Sector)

Eligibility

Participation is open on equal conditions to all national companies or enterprises specialized in construction works with a valid trading license.

Tender Document Acquisition

Tender documents may be obtained upon submission of a non-refundable fee of 10,000 Rwandan Francs (RWF). Documents will be available one day after payment is confirmed.

Mandatory Site Visit

Date: Thursday, 5 March 2026 at 2:00 PM

Starting Location: G.S Gati, Muyira Sector, Nyanza District

Site visit attendance is mandatory for all bidders.

Bid Submission

Location: ActionAid Rwanda Head Offices, Remera, KG 178 ST, 5 Amahoro Village, RUKIRI II Cell, Remera Sector, Gasabo District (near Amahoro National Stadium, next to RSSB/CSS Building)

Deadline: Thursday, 12 March 2026 at 10:30 AM

Requirements:

• Bids must be written in English
• Properly bound and presented in 2 copies (1 original and 1 copy)
• Submitted in sealed envelopes
• Late bids will be rejected

Bid Opening

Date and Time: Thursday, 12 March 2026 at 11:30 AM

Location: ActionAid Rwanda conference room

Bid opening will take place in a public session.

• No construction company shall be awarded more than one construction tender at a time.
