Position Overview

We are seeking an interested, qualified, committed, and competent candidate for the position of Chief Transport Operations Officer.

Number of Positions: 1

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer

Main Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise activities in the Transport and Technical Department
• Explore new routes in high-population zones and conduct feasibility studies to establish profitability
• Advise the CEO on the deployment of buses across multiple routes
• Ensure effective installation and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Design performance contracts and assign scores to respective targets
• Conduct staff performance evaluations at year-end to assess achievement of set targets
• Prepare annual work plans and budgets for departmental activities
• Work closely with stakeholders and observe policies and guidelines related to public transport management
• Plan and schedule buses according to current demand and project future demand
• Prepare bids for new routes on behalf of RITCO
• Take charge of all company local cross-border transportation operations, including contracts, rates, compliance reporting, forecasting, personnel management, operational oversight, and product launches
• Perform other duties as requested by the Chief Executive Officer

Requirements and Qualifications

• Master's degree in Transport Economics or related field
• 5 years of working experience in public transport
• Knowledge and understanding of transport operations and mechanical aspects (advantageous)
• Flexible, analytical, and creative mindset
• Fluent in English or French
