Organization

Vumbuzi Impact Africa (VIA) Foundation is a recently registered common benefit foundation operating as a financial intermediary organization dedicated to supporting the acceleration and scale-up of ecosystem restoration efforts across member countries of the African Forest Landscape Restoration Initiative (AFR100). The mission of VIA Foundation is to provide innovative financial solutions and strategic support to restoration champions—the local organizations that mobilize communities to revitalize degraded land.

Position Overview

VIA Foundation seeks a consultant to design, develop, and formalize comprehensive organizational policies, frameworks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that will enhance governance, accountability, efficiency, and internal controls. The Foundation currently operates under a general operational framework but requires detailed policies and procedures aligned with best practices in governance, financial management, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review VIA Foundation's existing operational framework and relevant documentation
• Conduct a needs assessment to identify gaps in current policies, procedures, and internal control systems
• Develop and strengthen key organizational policies and frameworks
