About the Organization

Letshego Rwanda Limited was established in 2004 as a subsidiary of Letshego Holdings Limited (LHL), a pan-African financial services group headquartered in Gaborone. LHL is the largest indigenous BSE-quoted company with a market capitalisation exceeding BWP 5 billion (US$ 500 million), placing it in the top 40 sub-Saharan African companies (excluding South Africa). Since inception, Letshego Rwanda has operated as a regulated credit-only microfinance company. In 2013, Letshego Rwanda obtained a deposit-taking microfinance licence from the National Bank of Rwanda.

• Title: Relationship Officer – Deposit Mobilization (RO) 2

• Reports to: Sales & Marketing Officer

Purpose of the Role

The Relationship Officer plays a vital role in customer acquisition, credit assessment, portfolio growth, and client relationship management. The RO is responsible for identifying potential clients, evaluating their creditworthiness, disbursing microloans, and ensuring timely repayments. This role requires a proactive, target-driven individual with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for financial inclusion and community development.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and execute strategies to mobilize deposits from individuals, groups, and institutions
• Identify and target potential customers, including savings groups, cooperatives, and corporates
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
