Position Overview

AHF Rwanda is seeking a highly competent Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to be based in Rwamagana District, with occasional travel to other sites as required.

The M&E Officer is responsible for supporting AHF Rwanda with all Monitoring, Evaluation, and research activities. This position provides oversight and management of quality data across all aspects of the HIV program, including prevention, care and treatment, and advocacy. The role ensures the collection and management of quality data, provides data analysis, and participates in training and support supervision of service providers to ensure data quality and its use for program planning and decision-making.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, technical assistance, and administrative support to programme teams in data collection, processing, analysis, and interpretation
• Develop and/or maintain systems and processes that track performance against programme objectives and targets
• Ensure appropriate M&E systems are in place and functioning at all levels to meet project/programme output and outcome monitoring requirements
• Support AHF Rwanda Program dialogue with key partners at country and district level to ensure M&E activities are integrated and achievable
• Participate in developing annual work plans and targets
• Coordinate the collection and management of program data
