## Title: Senior Inventory Reporting Specialist

Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. About the Role

The Senior Inventory Reporting Specialist will help deliver high-quality financial reporting by overseeing both inventory accounting and reporting for inventory held across all countries of One Acre Fund's operations. You will play an important part in ensuring accurate and compliant accounting records while managing team members and fostering collaboration across departments. You will be part of the larger Finance team and will report directly to the Financial Reporting Senior Associate. This role is based in Kigali, Rwanda and is onsite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on monthly, quarterly, and annual books close processes related to inventory accounting
  • Provide oversight to inventory accounting and other teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and applicable financial reporting standards
  • Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes related to inventory
  • Prepare inventory provisions, valuations, and other analyses as required
  • Work with the FP&A team to produce accurate financial information pertaining to inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS)
  • Collaborate with different teams to create process and system improvements around inventory management, COGS recognition, and accounts payable to ensure accuracy
  • Improve the accuracy and usefulness of financial information across the organization
