Position Overview

Job Title: Grievance Mitigation Committee (GMC) Head

Reports To: Group Grievance Mitigation Committee

Work Base: Head Office, Kigali

Employment Type: One Year (Renewable)

Role Description

The GMC Head is an independent position responsible for settling unresolved employee grievances that may adversely impact ASA International's effective operations. The position holder is accountable for ensuring that both parties experience the GMC mitigation process as transparent, informative, and thorough, while adhering to all relevant policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve unresolved employee grievances through fair and transparent mitigation processes
• Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations
• Maintain confidentiality of all disclosures, data, and documents
• Minimize risks related to staff privacy and protection
• Protect employees from fear of reprisal in the grievance process
• Manage grievances in a manner that supports effective organizational operations
