Position Overview

Job Title: Electrician

Grade: C1

Department: Engineering

Reports To: Electrical Supervisor

Job Brief

The Electrician works on daily electrical system requirements and supports the Electrical Supervisor in electrical projects. This role involves inspecting electrical equipment to identify and troubleshoot electrical hazards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install safety and distribution components
• Install and repair electrical control systems, wiring, lighting, and related systems
• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical system components to identify hazards
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
• Ensure workplace safety standards are maintained
• Report any issues relating to electrical systems to the Electrical Supervisor
• Comply with all Company Policies and Procedures
• Perform other duties related to electrical work as assigned by Management

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or Certificate in an electrical field (or equivalent)
• 2 years or more of relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems
• Ability to use hand tools and electrical tools
• Proficiency in using test meters and other diagnostic equipment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong safety awareness and discipline
