Partners In Health (PIH) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality health care for poor and underserved populations worldwide. Since 2005, PIH Rwanda (also known as Inshuti Mu Buzima) has partnered with Rwanda's Ministry of Health to improve the quality of care and increase health care access for the country's most vulnerable populations. PIH/IMB currently operates in three districts: Kayonza, Burera, and Kirehe.

Position Overview

PIH is seeking a qualified consultant company to conduct a detailed needs assessment and technical study of the existing wastewater treatment, management, and disposal system at Rwinkwavu Hospital. The consultant will provide evidence-based recommendations and proposals for new system designs focused on improvement, expansion, and/or replacement.

Scope of Services

• Conduct detailed needs assessment of current wastewater treatment systems
• Perform comprehensive technical study of wastewater management and disposal infrastructure
• Analyze existing system performance and identify gaps
• Develop evidence-based recommendations for system improvements
• Propose new system designs for expansion and/or replacement as appropriate

Eligibility Criteria

• Company must not be suspended or blacklisted by PIH-IMB or OnePIH
• Company must not be blacklisted by the Rwanda Public Procurement Authority
• Company must not have any ongoing contracts with PIH-IMB demonstrating poor performance
• Company owner must not have been an employee of PIH or OnePIH within the past five years (2020-2025), unless PIH specifically seeks their expertise for consultancy services based on proven specialized knowledge

Compulsory Requirements

• Bid security equivalent to RWF 502,618 (Five hundred and two thousand, six hundred and eighteen Rwanda Francs) must be submitted
