Civil Engineer – Survey & Reality Capture Specialist

Role Purpose

Plan, execute, process, and deliver advanced surveying and reality capture services for mining, civil, and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, construction setting-out, and as-built surveys
• Execute SLAM scanning, terrestrial laser scanning, and drone-based LiDAR/photogrammetry (training will be provided)
• Establish and manage control networks, benchmarks, and ground control points (GCPs)
• Process survey and scanning data into CAD, GIS, BIM, and 3D deliverables
• Ensure survey accuracy, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and compliance with standards
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and client deliverables

Qualifications & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Survey/Geomatics focus) or Geospatial Engineering
• Licensed or registered surveyor (advantageous)
• Membership in a professional engineering or surveying body (advantageous)

Technical Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and survey processing software
• Experience with total stations, GNSS (RTK/PPK), and digital levels
• Point cloud processing and photogrammetry software
• GIS platforms and spatial data handling
• Relevant surveying or geomatics experience
