Call for Proposals For Recruitment of Contractor for the Construction of Sexual Reproductive Health and Academic Center of Excellence for Rsog at Nyagaratare District Hospital

Project Overview

The Rwanda Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RSOG) invites qualified construction firms to submit proposals for the construction of a Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) and Academic Center of Excellence at Nyagatare District Hospital, located in Nyagatare District, Eastern Province, Rwanda.

Project Objective

The project aims to establish a modern hub that strengthens sexual and reproductive health services while enhancing training, research, and community awareness and outreach.

Contract Details

• Contract duration: 8 months for construction
• Defects Liability Period (DLP): 12 months following completion
• Contract terms: FIDIC Red Book 2017
• Bidding process: Open competitive bidding using single-envelope system

Bidding Documents

Bidding documents, including detailed Terms of Reference, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and design drawings, will be made available upon submission of proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of RWF 50,000 (Fifty thousand Rwandan francs) to the Rwanda Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists at Bank of Kigali, with the description "Construction Tender Fee."

Pre-Bid Site Visit

A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 18th February from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Nyagatare District Hospital.

Submission Requirements

Interested bidders must submit sealed bids containing both technical and financial proposals, along with proof of site visit attendance, in person to:

Deadline: 10th March 2026 at 1:00 PM

Bid opening will take place on the same day at 1:30 PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
