Position Overview

Job Title: Bobcat Driver

Job Grade: B3

Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Job Brief

To load and haul broken ore material inside and outside of the mine.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Bobcat safely and effectively to prevent injury and damage to company property
• Perform minor repairs when necessary and maintain daily reports of equipment status and completed tasks
• Ensure machines are in good working condition and operate equipment within its limits
• Follow hand and caplamp safety signals and company safety and speed procedures
• Report any issues related to Bobcat safe operation to the Mechanic
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of machinery
• Operate with vigilance and within company standards and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Senior 6 Secondary Education
• Category F Equipment Driving License
• Very good hand-eye coordination
• Excellent reflexes, patience, and vigilance
• Strong work ethics
• Punctuality and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Physical fitness and good health

Preferred Experience

• Bobcat operational experience
