Bank of Africa – Rwanda is a private commercial bank serving businesses, entities, and individuals in Rwanda. The bank began operations in October 2015 following the acquisition of Agaseke Bank, which had operated in Rwanda since November 2003.

Bank of Africa – Rwanda is part of the Bank of Africa BMCE Group, established in 1982 from Bamako, Mali. The group operates in 19 countries across West Africa, East Africa, the Indian Ocean zone, Central Africa, and France.

In Rwanda, the bank operates 15 branches, including 9 in Kigali and 6 in upcountry locations (Muhanga, Huye, Musanze, Rubavu, Rusizi, and Kayonza), plus 1 outlet at Milles Collines Hotel in Kigali.

Position Overview

Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Reports to: Executive Head of Risk

Job Purpose: The Financial Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, measuring, monitoring, and controlling liquidity and financial risks. This role ensures that the bank's risk management policies, frameworks, and methodologies are properly developed, implemented, and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and the Bank's Risk Appetite.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the development of the Bank's Risk Appetite limits for Board approval
• Monitor adherence to approved limits and recommend corrective actions where necessary
