Position Overview
Peace Corps Rwanda is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated TEFL Technical Trainer to support the comprehensive Pre-Service Training (PST) program. This position prepares TEFL Trainees for effective classroom teaching and successful school community integration. Working under the supervision of the Education Program Manager, you will provide specialized technical support across multiple areas of trainer development and curriculum excellence.

Peace Corps has been active in Rwanda since 2008, with volunteers currently working in Health and TEFL Education in direct response to Government of Rwanda priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized technical support for curriculum materials review
- Conduct structured lesson observations
- Deliver TEFL technical training sessions
- Provide guided teaching practicum support
- Ensure alignment with national curriculum expectations and Peace Corps standards of practice
- Ensure quality and coherence of TEFL training materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools

Position Details
- Location: Kigali, Rwanda
- Contract Period: August – November (Not To Exceed 45 days)
- Daily Compensation Range: 62,312 RWF – 82,440 RWF
