## Title: Sales and Marketing Manager – Poultry

About the Role

Livestock Bank Ltd is a fast-growing agribusiness company operating primarily in the poultry value chain, with a strong focus on day-old chicks (broilers and layers) and chicken meat production and distribution. We are seeking a highly driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our commercial operations and support national market expansion.

Reports To

Senior Management

Key Responsibilities

  • Introduce, develop, and manage a national sellers' network across different regions of the country
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate the sales team and regional sellers to achieve set targets
  • Develop, plan, execute, and monitor marketing plans and sales strategies for day-old broiler chicks, day-old layer chicks, and chicken meat
  • Expand market presence through distributors, agents, farmers, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and institutional clients
  • Coordinate demand planning with hatchery, production, and operations teams
  • Conduct market research on poultry demand, pricing, and competitor activity
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts, and submit regular reports to management
  • Lead promotional activities, farm visits, exhibitions, and branding initiatives

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Animal Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the poultry or livestock sector
  • Proven experience in building and managing sales networks or agent-based distribution models
  • Strong understanding of broiler and layer production systems and poultry meat markets
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
  • Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda (required); French is an added advantage
