World Vision is a child-focused Christian humanitarian organization implementing development programs across 30 districts of Rwanda. Our interventions for 2026-2030 aim to reach 2.5 million of the most vulnerable children through programming in Resilience and Livelihoods, WASH and Health, Child Protection, and Education.
Position Overview
World Vision Rwanda is implementing an Accelerated Education project in Gashora ETM, funded by UNHCR, to promote living conditions of evacuees from Libya. This position supports the major goal of facilitating evacuees' access to language and civic education.
About the Role
Education is a fundamental human right and essential for the exercise of all other human rights. It promotes individual freedom and empowerment and yields important development benefits. As a powerful tool, education enables economically and socially marginalized adults and children to lift themselves out of poverty and participate fully as citizens. Refugees and asylum-seekers have the same right to education as all other people in the world.
