Inganji SACCO Rubavu is a District Savings and Credit Cooperative (D-SACCO) established through the consolidation of 12 Umurenge Savings and Credit Cooperatives (USACCOs) operating within Rubavu District. Operating under the supervision of the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR), the organization plays a pivotal role in creating inclusive financial systems across Rwanda as part of the country's long-term development plan.

Reports to: Managing Director (administratively); Audit Committee of the Board (functionally)

Job Summary

The Internal Auditor plays a critical role in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal controls within Inganji SACCO Rubavu. This position ensures that operations, financial reporting, and compliance practices adhere to internal policies, applicable laws (including SACCO governance laws in Rwanda), and best financial practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute assigned audit work diligently and deliver results on schedule
• Comply with employer instructions and organizational directives
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and cooperative decisions
• Follow established principles and rules governing the organization
