Position Overview

Anum Rural Bank is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Officer to support and assist the Head of Internal Audit in the effective delivery of audit services for the bank.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the audit of electronic platforms
• Assist in departmental and agency audits of the bank
• Assist the Head of Internal Audit in conducting security audits to ensure current security measures are adequate to protect against threats such as hacking or theft
• Assist in analyzing information security controls to identify vulnerabilities in applications, network infrastructure, and operating systems
• Monitor the flow of data to ensure it is moving through computer systems as intended
• Conduct operational, compliance, financial, and investigative audits as assigned
• Execute audit assignments in accordance with internal audit standards

Required Qualifications

• First degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or Banking
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a related role
• Part-professional qualification in ICA, CIMA, or similar
• Knowledge in system auditing

Required Competencies

• Excellent knowledge of T24 banking software and other banking applications
• Strong knowledge of auditing, banking, and accounting concepts and principles
• Ability to perform reviews on system development, operation, security procedures, and standards
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• High level of integrity, competence, and confidentiality
