About This Role

Hive Colab Limited is seeking the services of an independent accounting firm to conduct a comprehensive audit of the organization's financial statements. This is a contractor position requiring an external and independent Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or qualified Auditor.

Scope of Work

The auditor will be responsible for the following:

• Express an opinion on the company's schedule of revenues and disbursements (financial statements) as of December 31, 2025, based on the audit
• Perform audits in accordance with International Auditing and Assurance Standards issued by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU)
• Review and assess the internal control systems of the company
• Review and assess compliance with local laws and regulations
• Review and assess the accounting principles used and significant estimates made by Hive Colab, as well as the overall financial statement presentation
• Examine evidence supporting the amounts and disclosures in the financial statements
• Prepare and file Hive Colab's income tax return for the twelve-month period from January 1 to December 31, 2025
• Issue reports based on the results of the audit performed

Deliverables

• Audited financial statements
• Management letter including recommendations for improvements in controls and procedures, where warranted
• Income tax return for the period ending December 31, 2025
