Maintenance & Technical Support Technician

About the Role

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment in industrial, manufacturing, and technical environments. This is a full-time position reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Job Summary

As a Maintenance & Technical Support Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance, read technical blueprints, and operate tools to overhaul systems such as pumps, conveyors, and motors. You will document all maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance
• Identify sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
• Dismantle and remove defective parts, then diagnose solutions
• Determine changes in parts and supplies requirements by checking stock and placing orders
• Maintain inventories of equipment parts and supplies
• Train sales and workshop staff on routine preventive maintenance and product knowledge
• Provide mechanical maintenance information to customers and answer technical inquiries
• Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with safety procedures, precautions, and workshop regulations
• Perform after-sales services and provide flexibility in supporting sales activities
• Conduct daily routine monitoring, updating, and repairs of display items

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical engineering or similar related certifications
• 3 years of relevant experience
