Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as a Web Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications while ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate code to ensure proper structure and compatibility with browsers and operating devices
• Determine the structure and design of web pages
• Develop features to enhance user experience
• Create designs using Canva or other design software
• Ensure web designs are optimized for smartphones and mobile devices
• Build reusable code for future use
• Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability
• Utilize a variety of markup languages to write web pages
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement
• Back up website files to local directories for recovery purposes
• Identify and correct problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing

Required Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science or related qualification from a reputable institution
• Minimum of 3–6 years of professional experience in Web Development/Programming
• Proven software development experience in PHP
• Good design knowledge with Canva or similar design software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization in a multicultural/international environment

Technical Skills

• HTML, MySQL, jQuery, CSS, Java, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP, and Laravel
• Web technologies and web-based applications
• Networking applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft or Cisco Certification
