We have an urgent need for a Warehouse and Logistics Manager for one of our locations situated at OJODU-BERGER/OPIC AREA of Lagos State.   Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure efficient and safe warehouse operations, compliance with regulations, and management satisfaction.
  • Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and delivery of goods, materials, and products, optimizing warehouse layout, storage systems, and workflow to maximize space utilization and productivity.
  • Supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, loaders, and off loaders, providing leadership, direction, and training to ensure performance and productivity.
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and replenishment activities, conducting regular cycle counts, audits, and inventory checks to maintain accurate inventory records and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Implement inventory management techniques, such as ABC analysis, FIFO/LIFO, and batch tracking, to prioritize inventory, minimize loading/offloading costs, and optimize stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, security protocols, and workplace health standards, conducting regular safety inspections, training sessions, and emergency drills to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
LOGISTICS
  • As a Logistics Manager, you will manage logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment, to optimize resource utilization, minimize costs, and meet the Branches' demands.
  • Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, distribution, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment, to meet branches' requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Manage transportation activities, including transporter selection, routing, scheduling, and cost negotiation, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to all branches.
  • Monitor and track shipments, orders, and inventory levels, ensuring real-time visibility and control over logistics operations.
  • Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
  • Organizing the warehouse, labelling goods, plotting routes, and processing deliveries.
  • Responding to any issues or complaints.
REQUIREMENTS
  • B.Sc. in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; master's degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, distribution, or logistics operations, with a track record of managing large-scale warehouses or distribution branches.
