The Role:
  • As a core member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the electronic and software systems that allow our UAVs to sense, decide, and communicate. You’ll work across the full lifecycle—defining redundancy philosophies, tuning control loops, and ensuring our platforms operate safely in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • System Architecture: Define avionics stacks, power distribution logic, and redundancy systems.
  • Flight Control: Implement and tune navigation loops (attitude, velocity, and position control).
  • Sensor Fusion: Manage IMU, GNSS, and air data integration; develop strategies for GPS-denied navigation.
  • Communications & Power: Design C2 links, telemetry systems, and EMI-resistant power architectures.
  • Autonomy: Develop mission logic, including waypoints, geo-fencing, and failsafe behaviors.
  • Validation: Lead SIL/HIL, ground, and flight testing; analyze logs to drive system optimization.
What You Bring:
  • Embedded Expertise: Deep knowledge of C/C++, Python, RTOS, and protocols (CAN, UART, SPI, Ethernet).
  • Control Theory: Solid grasp of PID control, state-space, and UAV dynamics.
  • Estimation: Experience with Kalman filtering ($EKF/UKF$) and sensor physics.
  • RF/Electronics: Understanding of link budgets, EMI/EMC, and grounding.
  • Safety First: A rigorous approach to failure diagnosis and knowledge of UAV regulatory standards.
