Role Description

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking an experienced Transport Manager to lead fleet and operational performance. This role is responsible for optimizing Turn Around Time (TAT), managing journey compliance, overseeing maintenance schedules, and ensuring quality service delivery standards across all operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan trip scheduling to drive truck Turn Around Time (TAT) and On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance
• Supervise, train, and evaluate driver and transportation personnel
• Create journey management plans aligned with safety, compliance, and industry best practices
• Drive maintenance schedules to guarantee roadworthiness and regulatory compliance
• Manage cost control and optimize operational efficiency across fleet operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Transport Management, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in haulage operations
• At least 6 years of experience managing transport scheduling and fleet performance
• Proven ability to exceed operational targets and manage large-scale fleet operations
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian road regulations and vehicle maintenance
• Expertise in maintenance scheduling and compliance management
