Role Overview
As our Town Planning Officer, you will be the guardian of our estate planning standards. You will work closely with Property Managers and Consultants to implement the "Approval Order," monitor compliance, and ensure our estates remain organized, compliant, and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage planning applications, renovation permits, and conduct routine site inspections to enforce compliance
- Assist in revising and implementing the Estate Approval Order and planning frameworks
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of plots, land use classifications, and digitalization of estate mapping
- Act as a liaison between Wemabod, residents, businesses, and government planning agencies
- Provide professional technical input on redevelopment proposals and estate improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Urban & Regional Planning, Physical Planning, or a related field
- 1–5 years of post-qualification experience in town planning or development control
- NYSC completed
- Registration with NITP or eligibility for TOPREC (strong advantage)
Required Skills
- Proficiency in GIS tools, CAD software, and estate mapping technologies (highly desirable)
- Strong analytical ability
- High integrity and excellent communication skills
