About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Telesales Executive to join our team in Lagos. This position focuses on driving sales through remote customer engagement, building strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets in the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and contact potential customers online and through phone to generate sales leads and build a growing client base
- Develop thorough product knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals to effectively communicate features, benefits, and technical specifications
- Present products, answer customer questions, explain technical details, and negotiate prices and terms to secure sales
- Maintain and grow profitable customer relationships by providing excellent service, handling queries, and following up on leads and inquiries
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals, working independently or as part of a team
- Stay informed about the latest technology trends, online marketing strategies, and competitor activities
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
- Proven experience in telesales, client service, customer service, or sales
- Basic to strong knowledge of computers, software, and IT terminology
- Exceptional communication skills across digital platforms
- Strong persuasion and negotiation abilities to overcome objections and close deals
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and remain self-motivated
- Familiarity with online sales tools, CRM systems, and communication platforms (email, chat, phone)
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in business, marketing, or computer science
- Outstanding customer service record
