## Title: Telesales Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in a Telesales Officer position. This role is central to our customer engagement strategy, combining proactive outbound calling with responsive inbound support to serve our diverse customer base including farmers, dealers, and walk-in customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate sales calls to assigned customers (walk-in, telesales route, and credit route dealers) to announce new arrivals and promotional offers
  • Conduct customer care calls to farmers, walk-in customers, and on-route dealers to assess satisfaction levels, address service complaints, and gather quality feedback
  • Attend to inbound calls, answer customer queries, and direct inquiries to appropriate stakeholders
  • Handle bulk SMS communications to salesmen, dealers, and farmers regarding offers and updates
  • Conduct verification calls as requested to validate stock levels and credit balances
  • Investigate, resolve, and document customer complaints; escalate complex issues to relevant departments (sales, supervisors, agro-marketing, inspectors, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound calls
  • Prepare and send email reports documenting call escalations to relevant stakeholders including Inspectors, Technical Department, Supply Chain Department, and Telesales Manager
  • Generate and summarize daily activity reports with feedback analysis and call statistics

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • NYSC member or recent graduate from an Agro science college or university
  • Fluent speaker of Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo
