Technical Sales Manager (Paint Raw Materials) at Cormart Nigeria Limited

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this position. You will lead sales operations for the paint raw materials and coatings division, combining technical expertise with strategic business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets for the paint raw materials and coatings division
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor initiatives to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
• Use data and analytics to formulate and measure the effectiveness of sales strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers while expanding the business portfolio
• Drive market development activities aligned with company business goals and ensure strategic alignment in sourcing, sales, and marketing
• Identify and pursue new market segments and business development opportunities with realistic forecasts
• Coordinate sales activities nationwide while ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with standard policies and procedures
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production departments to ensure timely product delivery and meet customer demands
• Provide nationwide technical support to customers on the development of new paint and coating products
• Promote raw materials for paint production to current and potential customers
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinates' performance toward overall team objectives
• Develop and deliver proposals, presentations, and sales bids to prospective customers
• Prepare and compile periodic activity and performance reports for the General Manager and Managing Director

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. or HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in technical sales within the paints and coatings industry
• Sound understanding of paint formulations, additives, resins, pigments, and solvents
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
