Wazobia Technologies is seeking a Technical Project Manager who is smart and passionate about software development. The ideal candidate will possess strong organization, communication, and leadership qualities, with a solid grasp of agile methodologies and experience managing multiple software development projects simultaneously. This position is for self-starters with excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be a key member of the Agile Delivery Team responsible for defining user stories, prioritizing the Product Backlog, and streamlining the execution of program priorities. You will maintain the conceptual and technical integrity of features and components while working closely with stakeholders and the Scrum team to manage the end-to-end development process for new features.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, and participants in a project charter that serves as the foundation for the project
• Define roles and produce schedules and timelines for tasks based on business needs
• Manage project implementation timeframes and overall project plans, including deliverables, testing, and implementation support
• Provide overall leadership to the entire project team, including overseeing other functional team leaders
• Create and manage estimates, project plans, project schedules, resource allocation, and expenses to ensure targets are reached
• Lead scrum teams in delivering products that customers love while delivering business outcomes
• Perform backlog grooming and prioritize product improvements that will have the most significant impact
• Identify issues and risks in a timely manner and develop and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
