Technical Product Manager at Sovereign Finance Limited

Role Description

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as Technical Product Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Vision: Set product direction, understand market gaps, and align with business goals. Lead requirements gathering and technical documentation.
• Own the product roadmap and feature prioritization.
• Technical Expertise: Coordinate integrations with switches, processors, KYC and credit systems
• Cross-functional Leadership: Act as the liaison between engineering, design, marketing, sales, legal, and compliance.
• Execution & Launch: Drive product development, manage releases, and ensure successful product launches – UAT, QA, API testing, and release management.
• Market Analysis: Conduct competitor analysis and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities.
• Risk & Compliance: Navigate fast-evolving financial regulations and security needs (CBN, NDPR, PCI-DSS, AML/CFT) ensuring product integrity

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or IT
• Product management experience with API knowledge
• Proficiency in Product Strategy to define features, roadmap, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and inform decision-making for product development and improvement
• Experience in Program Management to coordinate multiple projects and ensure successful completion on time and within budget
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of UX, analytics, and agile delivery methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Product management certification
• Familiarity with the financial services industry
