About the Role

Our dynamic team at Ocean Marine Solutions Limited is expanding and seeking talented technical support professionals to join our operations in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support including typing correspondences, reports, and other documents for the General Manager
• Control and manage stock, engineering office files, and coordinate office inventory and ordering of supplies
• Supervise equipment usage and maintenance, maintaining detailed usage records
• Manage offshore crew change scheduling and logistics
• Assist in preparation of vessel specifications and ensure marine databases are current
• Support the Port Engineer with compilation of specifications, quotations for dry docking, and drydocking reports
• Follow up on repairs and services as arranged by the General Manager or Port Engineer
• Produce work packs for scheduled maintenance and modifications, project plans, and vessel maintenance programs
• Manage planning and coordination of periodic services, dry docking, and vessel upgrades using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
• Conduct periodic inspections of assets and maintain up-to-date marine databases
• Maintain records of ship certificates and follow up on class survey certifications

Required Qualifications

• HND or B.Sc in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in technical administration or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with CAD or SolidWorks

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• VBA programming in Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft Power BI experience
• Programming knowledge (Python, Java, SQL)
• Experience in an engineering servicing firm
