About the Project

The Nigerian Energy Support Programme (NESP) is co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Power (FMP).

The programme aims to enable and foster investments in a domestic market for Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE), while improving access to electricity in Nigeria.
