About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• File VAT returns on Tax ProMax for all relevant subsidiaries
• Process and prepare Withholding tax schedules for filing and payment
• File Annual PAYE returns for all relevant States
• Process Tax Clearance Certificates for subsidiaries and staff across the group
• Respond to all tax queries from State Internal Revenue Services and take appropriate steps to avoid penalties due to non-compliance
• Remit monthly PAYE payments
• Maintain proper records of all tax correspondences, receipts, and returns
• Maintain and regularly update the company's Fixed Asset schedule
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies on tax matters and external auditors
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Tax Manager or Head of Tax

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years handling tax matters in manufacturing companies
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
