About the Role
Secom Limited is seeking a qualified Talent Acquisition Officer to join our team in Lagos. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle and supporting the company's strategic hiring initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with internal departments to determine recruitment needs and hiring timelines
- Determine selection criteria, hiring profiles, and job requirements for vacant positions
- Source potential candidates through online career portals, recruitment sites, job boards, social media platforms, print media, posters, and flyers
- Manage hiring processes using electronic Applicant Tracking Systems
- Evaluate applications and screen candidates via phone and email communications
- Facilitate pre-interview assessments and evaluations
- Compile interview questions and conduct in-person or video call interviews with shortlisted candidates
- Prepare hiring forecasts to support the company's strategic planning
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or similar field
- 1–2 years of experience as a talent acquisition specialist or in a related role
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, such as Oracle Taleo and iCIMS Recruit
- Strong ability to liaise with internal departments and develop hiring strategies and candidate profiles
- Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract qualified applicants
- Exceptional screening, shortlisting, and interview skills
- Experience in building company brand awareness and establishing professional relationships with candidates
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from the HR Certification Institute
Compensation
N120,000 – N150,000 per month
