Supply Chain Accounting Assistant

Position Overview

Design Union seeks a dedicated Supply Chain Accounting Assistant to support the management of the company's supply chain financial transactions and accounting records. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with control and monitoring of supply chain financial transactions
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate accounting supporting records
• Manage the company's accounts payable ledgers
• Monitor daily transactions recorded in accounts payable to ensure accuracy of company liabilities
• Review statutory deductions from supply chain transactions to minimize tax liability

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. (1st or 2nd Class Upper) in Accounting, Finance, Social Sciences, or Management
• Completion of or currently undertaking the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC)
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in enterprise-wide accounting applications (SAGE, SAP, or similar)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
