## Title: State Technical Officer – TB/HIV Services

Position Details

Job Summary

Provide technical guidance to facility and community implementers to ensure the provision of quality TB/HIV services in the state with key attention to all indicators as contained in the Global Fund (GF) PPM GC7 Grant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, coordinate, and supervise all TB program activities in the assigned state
  • Provide managerial and technical support to assigned Partners for Patients (PfPs) and Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs) in the provision of TB services
  • Supervise treatment delivery by health workers in supported PfPs/FBOs and ensure compliance with National guidelines
  • Maintain active collaboration with national, state, and local government agencies (LGAs), including non-governmental organizations and voluntary agencies working in TB programs
  • Organize periodic reviews and evaluations of partner facilities' performance
  • Identify community-based structures to drive demand and expansion of TB services into hard-to-reach areas
  • Participate in and facilitate the participation of local PfPs/FBOs in all TB forums at local and state levels, providing updates as required
  • Ensure integration of local PfPs/FBOs into state and LGA level TB program and reporting networks
  • Deploy job aids and TB resources to healthcare workers in facilities and community congregations
  • Develop and submit project reports on time with good quality and accurate evidence capture, submitted monthly to the Program Advisor
  • Conduct supportive and supervisory visits to TB and HIV care facilities, prepare reports on supervisory visits, and provide remedial actions on identified constraints
  • Work closely with State/LGA TB/HIV Liaison Services (LGTBLS) officers and support state TB/HIV Partners' Forum to coordinate partner support
