Project Overview

The Routine Immunization Project's overarching goal is to strengthen routine immunization programs to:

• Sustainably overcome the entrenched obstacles contributing to stagnating and declining immunization rates in the supported states
• Address the barriers to reaching zero-dose and under-immunized children with life-saving vaccines and other health services

The Project will provide technical assistance to support routine immunization strengthening in 5 states, applying a co-creation approach to improve equitable coverage with a focus on identifying, understanding, and reaching zero-dose and under-immunized children.

Position Summary

As a member of the Routine Immunization Project's Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team, you will contribute to the MEL approach through advice on MEL tools, processes, and guidance. You will maintain the Project's results framework, conduct field monitoring visits, collect evidence, and evaluate the performance of various project aspects. You will convene data review meetings with staff and stakeholders to discuss results and identify opportunities for performance improvement. You will also contribute to donor reporting by writing clear, concise reports on development results.

Reports to: State Routine Immunization Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Routine Immunization stakeholders, including representing the Project on technical committees to facilitate evidence-based planning for immunization services and ensuring that plans are aligned with the National Strategic Plans for Immunization
• Collaborate with the Abuja MEL team on monitoring and evaluation activities
