Role Description
- This full-time, on-site role located in Lagos involves providing high-quality nursing and midwifery care to patients at Marigold Hospital and Critical Care Centre.
- The Staff Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM), Post NYSC, will be responsible for patient assessment, health education, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and monitoring patient outcomes.
- The role also includes ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Proficiency in providing patient care, assessing health conditions, and administering medications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring protocol compliance.
- Conduct normal deliveries and assist with obstetric procedures when required.
- Monitor fetal and maternal wellbeing during pregnancy and labour.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Nursing/Midwifery (RN/RM).
- Completion of NYSC (National Youth Service Corps).
- Knowledge of current healthcare practices and access to specialized care environments is a plus.
