Job Summary

This role is responsible for the efficient and effective control of soya production processes, ensuring that manufacturing processes run reliably, products are delivered on time and within budget, and goods are produced safely, cost-effectively, and meet the required quality standards.

• Drive productivity and production target achievement
• Efficient utilization of raw material (zero wastage)
• Quality machine handling (no production-induced machine downtime)
• Machine production capacity utilization and quality of production output
• Efficient utilization of manpower
• Production cost consciousness and cost savings achieved
• Recovery of soya meal
• Damage recovery rate (no contamination/wastage)

Responsibilities

• Read all parameters at least three times per shift
• Manage and control the distillation unit
• Operate and maintain the cooling tower
• Monitor and maintain temperature, pressure, and air during production
• Carry out meal-finishing production records and supervision
• Monitor and operate equipment used for meal finishing to ensure good quality and productivity
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety requirements in the assigned work process
• Enforce housekeeping and strict safety guidelines
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Eng., B.Sc., or HND) in Sciences or Social Sciences
• 3–5 years of experience in a related field
• Knowledge of provincial health and safety standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to work under pressure
• Organized and punctual
