Job Summary

This role is responsible for the efficient and effective control of soya production processes at the Solvent Extraction Plant. The successful candidate will ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably, products are delivered on time and within budget, and goods are produced safely, cost-effectively, and meet all required quality standards.

Key Result Areas

• Drive productivity and production target achievement
• Ensure efficient utilization of raw materials with zero wastage
• Maintain quality machine handling to prevent production-induced downtime
• Optimize machine production capacity utilization and quality of production output
• Manage efficient utilization of manpower
• Achieve production cost savings and cost-conscious operations
• Maximize recovery of soya meal
• Maintain high damage recovery rates with no contamination or wastage

Responsibilities

• Read and monitor all parameters at least three times per shift
• Manage and control the distillation unit
• Operate and maintain the cooling tower
• Monitor and regulate temperature, pressure, and air flow during production
• Carry out meal-finishing production records and supervision
• Operate meal finishing equipment to ensure quality and productivity
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety requirements in assigned work processes
• Enforce housekeeping and strict safety guidelines
• Perform any other responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Eng., B.Sc., or HND) in Sciences or Social Sciences
• 3-5 years of experience in a related field
• Knowledge of provincial health and safety standards
