Skilled Medical Officer (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)

Position Overview

Christian Miracle Hospital in Enugu is seeking a highly skilled, surgically competent Medical Officer to join our clinical team. This position requires a professional who is both clinically excellent and spiritually aligned with our faith-based mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient consultations and manage antenatal and fertility clinics
• Provide specialized care for obstetric and gynaecological cases
• Independently perform or assist in obstetric and gynaecological surgeries, including Caesarean Sections, fibroid removal, ovarian cyst procedures, appendectomies, and minor gynaecological procedures
• Lead daily ward rounds and manage pre- and post-operative patient care
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centric services
• Provide 24/7 on-site medical support during scheduled shifts and handle obstetric emergencies with precision and speed
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in clinical audits
• Collaborate with nursing and laboratory teams to optimize patient outcomes

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from an accredited institution
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with current practicing license
• Proven surgical experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (mandatory)
• Currently resident in Enugu (preferably within Independence Layout, New Haven, Achara Layout, or Ogui Road axis)
