Shipment Coordinator III at Nautilus Nigeria Engineering and Construction Limited

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. You will be an expert in your field, capable of providing training and mentorship to junior Logistics Coordinators while managing complex shipment operations with minimal supervision.

Main Responsibilities

• Liaise with Customs/Excise officers and other third-party stakeholders
• Verify shipping documents for endorsement and prepare cover letters with endorsed documents
• Send documentation to third-party trades and affiliates
• Actualize voyages and initiate freight payment/billing by completing voyages online
• Verify billing invoices from vendors and reconcile differences in the Intercompany Invoicing System (INNET)
• Follow up with supplying sources regarding credit/debit adjustments
• Troubleshoot system issues in day-to-day operations
• Identify dollar savings opportunities through transportation optimization
• Analyze transportation spend and recommend optimization opportunities
• Assist in generating dead stock, slow-moving, and excessive imported inventory disposal and redeployment plans
