Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Shift In-Charge responsible for supervising and coordinating all packaging operations during assigned shifts. This role ensures production targets are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of packaging machinery and proven leadership skills to manage shift personnel effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily packaging operations and ensure adherence to production schedules
• Supervise machine operators and packaging staff during the shift
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate minor troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with quality control, safety, and GMP standards
• Conduct shift handovers with accurate reporting of production metrics and issues
• Maintain inventory of packaging materials and coordinate with stores/logistics
• Train and mentor shift staff to improve productivity and reduce downtime
• Collaborate with QA, maintenance, and production planning teams for smooth operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Plastic Technology or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in manufacturing or packaging
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of packaging machinery and operations
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with production management software and systems

Compensation

Monthly Salary: ₦200,000–₦250,000
