Key Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced ultrasound and X-ray examinations, ensuring diagnostic accuracy and patient safety
• Analyze and interpret imaging results, providing detailed reports to support clinical decisions
• Maintain and calibrate sophisticated imaging equipment, adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards
• Train and mentor junior staff on imaging protocols and best practices as required
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of post-NYSC hands-on experience in sonography, with at least 3 years specializing in both ultrasound and X-ray diagnostics in a high-volume clinical setting
• Advanced certification in Sonography and Radiography (e.g., ARDMS, COREN, or equivalent) from a recognized institution, with active registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN)
• Demonstrated expertise in operating advanced imaging systems
• Proven ability to handle complex cases, including obstetric, abdominal, vascular ultrasound, and specialized X-ray procedures

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical skills to interpret intricate imaging results and identify abnormalities accurately
• Exceptional communication skills for patient interaction and clear reporting to medical teams
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed patient records and adhering to data privacy regulations (e.g., NDPR)
• Ability to work independently under pressure and manage high patient throughput
