Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to lead our sales efforts in promoting our range of buses, trucks, and trailers for Lagos and Western operations.
This role requires a deep understanding of the heavy-duty truck industry or automotive sector, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, serving as their primary point of contact
- Identify new business opportunities to increase heavy-duty truck sales effectively
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
- Liaise with body builders in Lagos for third-party body building on company products
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement promotional strategies for company products
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management
- Attend trade shows and industry events to represent the company and network with potential clients
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in heavy-duty truck sales or a related automotive sales role
- Strong understanding of the heavy-duty truck industry and market dynamics
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions
