About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated Senior Frontend Developer to lead frontend development for high-performance betting applications. You'll architect solutions that handle thousands of concurrent users and real-time data streams, ensuring seamless performance across all devices—from flagship iPhones to budget Android devices operating on African internet speeds.

Key Responsibilities

Build sophisticated web applications with React/Next.js/TypeScript
Develop native-feeling mobile apps with React Native
Implement real-time features using WebSockets
Optimize applications for African internet speeds and budget devices
Lead technical architecture decisions
Mentor junior developers and drive best practices
Create reusable component libraries and design systems

Required Qualifications

5+ years of frontend development experience
Deep expertise in React OR React Native (or both)
Working knowledge of the other platform
Expert JavaScript/TypeScript skills
Advanced state management patterns
Real-time application experience
Strong system design capabilities

Nice to Have

Betting, gaming, or fintech industry experience
Expertise in both React AND React Native
Published apps in production
Team leadership experience
Performance optimization at scale
