Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize build, release, and deployment processes
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability; implement alerting and incident response processes
• Manage cloud and on-premise environments
• Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and production issues
• Lead DevOps initiatives and mentor junior engineers
• Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and operational runbooks

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or infrastructure roles
• Strong experience with Linux/Unix system administration
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, etc.)
