Senior Carpenter (Production and Installation)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Carpenter to oversee carpentry production and on-site installation activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in furniture manufacturing and installation, demonstrate leadership capability, and maintain exceptional standards of workmanship and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute carpentry production activities
• Manage on-site installation of carpentry projects
• Implement and maintain quality control standards throughout production and installation processes
• Supervise junior carpentry staff and coordinate team activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building standards

Requirements

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in carpentry (production and installation)
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and architectural plans
• Proficiency in operating carpentry machinery and tools (e.g., circular saws, drills, sanders, routers)
• Experience supervising junior staff and managing on-site installations
• Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of Nigerian safety regulations and building standards (advantageous)
